Well... we have decided to rent out our lovely little "Beachy- style"
Cottage: "The Happy House"in Gippsland, Victoria as a holiday house....
The Happy House
is a lovely, neat, quiet, 2 bedroom/1 bathroom very cosey home.
Fully-furnished, freshly painted, with recently polished floor boards, a lovely big garden (with organic herb garden and fruit trees), a "play area" for the tiny kids (low swing, sand pit and toys) and a BBQ
and plenty of places for the adults to relax.
The Happy House is very "homely," and very reasonably priced.
The rates are subject to
the day of the week, and whether it is
a public holiday.
At the moment our rates are:
* M-Th $85.00 p/night
* Fr-Sun, and Vic Public Holidays, long weekends and "peak periods" such as Christmas and Easter : $110.00 p/night
(At this stage the peak periods for: Christmas is:
Thurs Dec 22nd 2011 to Sun Jan 8th 2012)
"The Happy House" is a great stop-over for anyone travelling through Gippsland.
Or maybe wanting accomodation close to Phillip Island, Wilsons Prom or Inverloch.
Or just wanting a relaxing or romantic weekend away.....
Or even short-term accommodation for workers in the area.....
(especially for Desal and Wonthaggi Hospital workers).
"The Happy House" is available for Short or Long Term stays.
Discounts are available for weekdays: Mon -Thursdays,
or for stays more than 3 days.
The Happy House is located within a nice, easy stroll to the very well equipped township of Wonthaggi, full of friendly, warm "country-folk".
Wonthaggi is a lovely old historical town, once an old Coal Mining town. There is still even an underground coal mining tour in operation for visitors.
Other Nearby attractions include:
Beautiful beaches, rolling hills, great wineries, eateries,
fishing, surfing/ surf beaches, and many other tourist attractions.
So why not pack....Nothing! And come along to The Happy House :)
Just take in the glorious coastal drive,
(only approx 1.5 hrs from Melb).
Come and rest and recharge! :)
